One
of the most effective ways to get browsers to
visit your site is via the major search engines.
Every website built by Quasar Design is initially
researched and then optimised with all the relevant
keywords and phrases placed in both the body of
the site and in the meta tags and then submitted
to at least 10 major search engines.
Whilst
this is a must as far as internet advertising
is concerned, you will probably find that it's
not a good enough way of attracting large numbers
of people to your site. This is because as a free
service the search engines may take a number of
weeks or even months to index your site and place
it in their databases.
Once
this is done there is no guarantee of where your
site will then appear within the listings, even
if your site has been well optimised. There's
a lot of competition. As more people visit your
site, the higher up the search engines it will
appear so you should look at other ways of attracting
people to your site.
